Disappointed to see LOWKELL's posting on BlueVirginia. It is biased and misinformed. In addition it suggests issue is political. It is not. The majority of zoning initiative's opponents are Democrats. We recognized Arlington's housing crisis and need for diversity. However the County Boards proposed plan is sloppy, unvetted and does not tackle affordability (unless you consider proposed $1.4M townhomes "affordable"). Opponents are seeking further study to address the plan's many flaws. We need to address Arlington's issues with analysis and wisdom, not virtue signaling.
